Background
RightFlight had a great business model and a database of 200,000 potential customers - but needed to boost the performance of their website. Travel is a cut-throat market, and clients won't stay long if they don't think they're getting the best deals.
Aims
They needed a charter search function of flight availability - precisely what our dotAirscan product provides. This enables us to link into the Airscan database, an industry tool which is constantly updated with pricing and availability information, and feed this through to any clients' website.
Design
Working closely with RightFlight, we produced an easy-to-use front end that lets visitors search immediately without needless navigation. Additional useful information is presented alongside this, giving the user all they need quickly and efficiently.
Features
The intelligent search functionality was written to provide results even when the departure date given has no availability. This is vital for people who find that their first choice of date is unavailable, and saves them from having to re-submit another search. We do this by presenting them with a calendar-style page containing all the days available around the one originally requested. This means we lose far fewer potential customers than would normally be the case.
Conclusion
RightFlight is now bringing in hard sales via the web. Before working with us, they were getting one or two sporadic enquiries through this avenue. Recently, they used our dotMailer system to tell one-quarter of their customer database about the new website. An hour later they had 250 genuine enquiries pending.
