Following on from the success of the 2002 conference website we were once again asked to provide the content / delegate management system for the organisation for all attendees. This site again made use of the BT brand but was given a graphical makeover to make it look fresh and up to date. More reports were created this year, following on from the lessons learnt previously.
This site was linked into dotMailer so trackable, personalised invitation emails could be sent out to a list of selected BT employees. Access to the site was only possible from links within the original emails that were sent out. Users were then requested to provide their own password for future access. The site itself contained a great deal of information regarding the conference.
It was possible for user to accept or reject the invitation to attend the conference. During this time, users were asked to complete vital feedback on any day to day issues with BT's Broadband offering. The registration process was simple and catered for all users whatever their special requirements. All this information linked into the dotEditor based delegate management system. The bookings team were able to print and export lists of groups of delegates based upon their requirements. Non-technical staff using the dotEditor system handled all change requests.
Following the conference, all the gossip and pictures from the event and after dinner gala were available on the site once the users had completed a short post conference feedback survey. The survey used some of the questions / feedback given by each individual user when they registered.
