Brighton Council invited us to tender for the re-design of their dedicated tourism web site because of our experience of working with councils. They are using a DMS (Destination Management System) to enable staff at the council to be able to regularly update the site. Brighton were keen to work with a web design / development agency that would have an understanding of both the branding and the technical issues that would be involved in integrating the website with the DMS.
Ellipsis Media was ideally placed to fulfil this role, since we have many years experience in building our own back-end systems that share a similar functionality to the DMS. More importantly, our designers are not only able to design a quality visual image, they have an acute understanding of the requirements for building a logical navigation system whilst making the design work 'smart' through various browser and hardware combinations. Furthermore, the designers were able to produce the page templates in such a way that it was effortless for the DMS to be integrated into the site.
