FRENCH CHAMBER OF COMMERCE

The French Chamber of Commerce was established in London in 1883 as a private organisation dedicated to the improvement of trading relations between Britain and France.

The French Chamber remains a self-governing private membership association of businesses dedicated to the promotion of trade and investment between France and Great Britain. The French Chamber provides the Franco-British community with tailor-made services and a dynamic network of business contacts.

This site had initially been outsourced to developers in Russia and though at the time this proved to be a viable commercial decision due to the competitive pricing that was on offer, the Chamber soon found themselves in difficulties.

The Chamber found many errors in the site and wanted to further extend the functionality of the content management system developed for the site. However, the company that had originally built the site were unable to outsource the work to the same developer and the chamber found it difficult to find another developer who was capable of reading the code that had been written previously in a deliberately difficult manner. After asking several other firms and not receiving any results, the Chamber were still unable to find anyone who was able to make the required changes until they were recommended to Ellipsis Media. We have removed all the errors within the site and have made numerous additions and improvements to the content management system.
