FastFix approached us with the idea of designing a colourful and powerful database driven web site which would have 50,000 DIY products for offered for order online.

The site makes use of a Content Management system powered by dotEditorTM which makes it possible for Fastfix staff to control prices, description, measurements and all site content. This system also handles all order processing and handles all the e-commerce transactions required.

FastFix imports its product information from a well known and largely established wholesaler's database on a regular basis. This information had to be synchronised with any changes that FastFix made to the product descriptions and pricing mark-ups.

This is an e-commerce web site which promises to be a big success as there are not many sites that can provide so many products of this type in one place and for such competitive prices and with an easy to follow ordering process.

A graphical re-design of the site was launched in September 2003 to give the site a more modern look and feel.
